GOLDWIN debuts high-performance arch support socks for golf
Merino wool minimizes stuffiness
GOLDWIN, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo / President: Akio Nishida / First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange: 8111) is pleased to introduce new golf socks made of wool from C3fit, its high-performance compression wear brand starting early December.
The new socks from C3fit were developed with a focus on providing foot support required for many hours of walking and minimizing stuffiness, while reflecting the advice of professional golfer Ryuichi Oda, GOLDWIN’s consultant staff.
An X-shaped band in the sole is designed to provide a gentle support for the three arches of the foot crucial for such competitive sports as running, trekking, and cycling. The structure absorbs impact while maintaining a propulsive spring-like force to facilitate movement.
Wool is used for the main material, providing a smooth and comfortable touch to the skin, while a combination of highly water-repellent polypropylene and nylon in the sole of the foot releases unpleasant perspiration. The instep is designed with a mesh construction, effectively removing moisture in the shoe and minimizing discomfort.
Also available from the new collection are firm-support socks.
