CDP Recognizes Goldwin’s Efforts to Address Climate Change and Disclose Information under the Long-Term Vision “PLAY EARTH 2030”
Goldwin Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takao Watanabe) has, for the first time, responded to the Climate Change Questionnaire from the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), an international non-profit organization that promotes the disclosure of information related to environmental activities. As a result, the company received a “B” score—the third highest rating on the CDP’s eight-tier management level scale (A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, D-).
■ About the CDP
The CDP, an international environmental non-profit organization established in 2000 and headquartered in the United Kingdom, promotes the disclosure of environmental information by companies and municipalities. In 2024, more than 25,000 organizations disclosed data through the CDP, including over 24,800 companies—representing approximately two-thirds of global market capitalization (of which more than 2,100 are Japanese companies)—as well as over 1,100 cities, states, and regions.

■ Our Initiatives
Under the theme of “Sustainability in the Environment” in our long-term vision, “PLAY EARTH 2030”, we have set forth four key focus areas: “Promotion of Green Design,” “Realization of a Carbon-free Society,” “Realization of a Circular Society,” and “Biodiversity Conservation and Restoration.” We are actively working toward environmental improvement by setting medium- and long-term goals. This first-ever CDP assessment for our company acknowledges our efforts and information disclosure related to climate change. We will further strengthen our environmental improvement initiatives and contribute to realizing a sustainable society through proactive information disclosure.
