Canterbury of New Zealand’s new shop to open in Grand Front Osaka
The new store will be the leading store in Osaka’s Umeda area.

Canterbury of New Zealand Japan, one of the group companies of GOLDWIN Inc., is to unveil a new store in Umeda, Osaka, on April 26, 2013. The new store will be located on the fifth floor of Grand Front Osaka Shops and Restaurants, a 44,000-square-foot shopping complex, which will open on the same day.
Called “Canterbury of New Zealand Grand Front Osaka Shop,” the new shop will be the leading store in Umeda, the hub of Osaka. The store will have the advantage of serving rugby players in Osaka and the Kansai region, where the sport is very popular, as well as rugby fans from all regions and generations. With its black, white, and wood interior design, the store aims to blend the history and tradition of the Canterbury brand and the sport of rugby with a modern style.
The store will feature two lines: RUGBY and LIFESTYLE.
The RUGBY line will offer a wide range of rugby gear, from game jerseys to practice wear to caps. The LIFESTYLE line will present a variety of styles based on Canterbury’s core product, rugby jerseys, for men, women, and kids.
